Greater Columbia 2-1-1

Do you – or anyone you know – need help and don’t know where to turn?

Everyone needs good information to overcome life’s challenges. 2-1-1 was started in 1997 by United Way of Altanta, and has grown nationally to serve communities as the one-stop information and referral resource for social services. In Washington State, there is a state-wide coordinated network of call centers. When you call 2-1-1, trained referral specialists at People For People’s community call center work to understand your problem or need and then provide direct information, assistance and referrals to available community services. 2-1-1 operators can also connect you to ways you can contribute to the community through volunteer service, donations or civic participation.
