YC-LIFE: Yakima County Local Indicators for Excellence

United Way has in past years researched and published "Community Assessments" to measure the human need in our service area. Now, the best practice in measuring and reporting both need and the community's resources to meet that need is an ongoing tracking of "indicators", and an annual scorecard that provides vital information to everyone involved in caring for people throughout our community. YC-LIFE is a collaborative effort to create the system to measure and report those indicators. We are identifying the measures, collecting data, and working with a group of coalitions and agencies to ensure the resulting information meets everyone's needs.
